She is one of the leading pianist in France leading her own trios and quartets. She had a trio with 2 leading British musicians Paul Rogers (bass) and Tony Levin (drums) they made 3 critically acclaimed cds and toured Europe\, Africa\, South America. Sophia was also known for her work with Elton Dean Paul\, has an international reputation and is one of the leading lights of improvised music with a vast discography recording much of his stella work. Tonight the quartet has the superb rhythm section of James Owston (bass) and Miles Levin (drums).
