Led by US director Scott Stroman and lead trumpet Noel Langley\, every chair is filled with soloists\, underpinned by the great rhythm section of Alcyona Mick (piano)\, Nick Costley-White (guitar)\, Calum Gourlay (bass)\, and Paul Clarvis (drums).  The players in the band write all of its music - expect beautiful new writing alongside LJO classics from its 30 year history.\n\n

DESCRIPTION:Doors 7.45pm\, music 8.15pm\n\n \nHouse band\nTBC\n\n \nAbout\n\n\n\n\n\nA weekly session on Sunday evenings\, the jams will be hosted by four of London’s finest: drummer Jas Kayser\, pianist Rick Simpson and tenor saxophonists Helena Kay and Riley Stone-Lonergan\, each one hosting one session on rotation.\n\nIf you’re an instrumentalist  you can attend for free if you’re planning on playing with the house band. No need to book in advance!\n\nOur dear Vortex members are also welcome to these sessions free of charge.\n\n\n\n\n
