DESCRIPTION:Doors 3:00 PM\, Music 3:30 PM\n \nABOUT\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe LJO’s Vortex Sessions is London’s longest residency. The band’s lineup has evolved from original members Kenny Wheeler\, John Taylor and Norma Winstone - but writer/director Scott Stroman and lead trumpet Noel Langley have stayed the same. The centrepiece of the LJO’s Festival performance is Stroman’s uplifting new suite Between Earth and Sky\, creating space for the band’s outstanding soloists and vocalist Brigitte Beraha as it travels through a range of emotions\, grooves and feels.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

No need to book in advance!\n\nOur dear Vortex members are also welcome to these sessions free of charge.\n\n\n\n\n
