Bill Shoemaker called this group "a line up analogous to the bands Blue Note and Prestige assembled on an almost daily basis back in the day" and said that their album "Fathom"\, which was released in 2023 on the highly-regarded New York free jazz label 577\, "moves through high-contrast environments at a brisk pace\, packed with surprises" and "will probably be widely hailed as one of the year’s best improvised music recordings".
