Heidi performed with The Cinematic Orchestra concluding a 2019 USA tour at the prestigious Los Angeles Walt Disney Hall where she performed with Patrick Watson\, Moses Sumney\, and Miguel Atwood Ferguson. DESCRIPTION:\n\nDoors 10 PM\, Music 10:30 PM\n \nABOUT\n\n\nOur monthly late night series brings songwriters together to perform in the round\, hosted by Matthew Herd. February sees the incredible\, genre defying Ed Begley bringing some new material to the Vortex with Alex Bonney on trumpet and electronics.\n\n \nEd Begley\n\nEd is a vocalist and keyboard player who conjures his music from improvised\, ambient explorations and delivers captivating performances using electronic and acoustic instruments.\nHaving recently completed several new recordings alongside Alex Bonney and Matthew Bourne\, he will be showcasing new material from these sessions ahead of his upcoming releases.\n\nEd will be joined by Alex Bonney (trumpet/electronics) and their duo project is called 'Entire Skies'. Ed has a trio with Tom Herbert (bass) and Joost Hendrickx (drums). An experienced songwriter and producer\, Ed writes for screen and stage and is currently working with the Royal Shakespeare Company and Thom Yorke (Radiohead/The Smile) on 'Hamlet Hail to the Thief'.\n\n\n\n
