SUMMARY:eavesdropping festival forum (session 3)
DESCRIPTION:\nAbout\neavesdropping returns to East London for another four-day festival\, curated by Juliet Fraser\, which includes four evening double-bill events (at Cafe OTO) and a weekend-long forum of provocations exploring 'Experiments in Magic' (at Vortex). We hope to stimulate your ears and your imagination by presenting new work by eight artists working at the experimental fringes of a variety of genres. At the heart of the eavesdropping festival is the forum\, a two-day gathering at Vortex Jazz Club for local and visiting artists alike to explore the topic ‘Experiments in Magic'. Weighty talks given by guest speakers Ximena Alarcón-Díaz\, Zuleika Lebow & Sara Mohr-Pietsch sit alongside shorter provocations gathered through an open call. The weekend also includes a sound walk\, a screening of the documentary 'City of a Million Dreams' and several Q&As. The vibe is low-key and friendly\, whilst definitely being thought-provoking.\n\n\n\n\nExplore the full festival programme.\nTickets: £12 / £9 \n\n\nClick through to our box office to find tickets for all the individual events\, as well as two discounted bundles:\n\nFORUM PASS (ALL FORUM SESSIONS)\nFESTIVAL PASS (ALL FESTIVAL EVENTS)\n\n\neavesdropping\neavesdropping is a platform for the sharing of new music and new ways of thinking about music.
