A recent graduate of Trinity Laban\, she is heard regularly around London\, playing with the likes of Michael Formanek\, Hans Koller and Bruno Heinen.\n\n​​The Whirlpool group changes from year to year. The current members\, selected by the heads of the three main London conservatoires\, are: Jonah Phillips\, Lior Solomons-Wise (piano)\, Ananda Brandao (drums)\, Dom Howard (guitar)\, Barney Anderson (guitar)\, Olivia Hughes (trombone)\, Oli Fitzgerald (bass).\n\nDescribing the opening concert a couple of years ago\, Sebastian Scotney wrote in UK Jazz News: “Their ability to co-operate and dovetail with each other to create something new – particularly considering the four had never met before – and the way they were able to create flow and to tell a story together was nothing short of astonishing.” So come and hear some of the stars of the future develop their craft at the Vortex.\n\nFor future concerts\, different members of the group will be leading the ensemble with special guests.\n\nMore information on https://www.vortexjazz.co.uk/2025/10/03/whirlpool-202526/
