DESCRIPTION:Doors 7:45 PM\, Music 8:30 PM - 2 sets of music\nAbout\nmargomool:\n\nmargomool is a British/Italian musician based in South-East London uniquely fusing jazz-inspired electronic music with hints of folk and soul. The vocalist and producer gravitates towards assorted influences\, from Little Dragon to Dego to Beverley Glenn-Copeland\, painting sonic worlds that sing to queer existence and empathy as a revolutionary tool.\n\nComing from a self-taught background\, margomool cultivated their practice through London’s improvisational scene\, going on to collaborate with globally recognised artists such as Allysha Joy\, EX Generation & Harve. They have taken their own project across the UK & Europe\, sharing lineups with the likes of Sarathy Korwar and Laura Misch on stages such as Love Supreme Jazz festival. Described by Line of Best Fit as ‘convention-smashing’\, margomool’s four independent releases have had international reach through support from tastemakers like Jamz Supernova\, Emma-Jean Thackray and Selector Radio.\n\nQueer Jazz:\n\nQueer Jazz exists to platform\, nurture and celebrate the emerging queer jazz scene.
