Intervention

Intervention is a dynamic conversation between the organic and electronic worlds. Founded by drummer-percussionist Lya Reis Guerrero (Colectiva, She’s Got Brass), alongside the extraordinary vocalist Plumm (Levitation Orchestra) and internationally acclaimed Latinx pianist/producer Eliane Correa (Hanz Simmer, New Regency Orchestra) and in demand bass player Beth O’lenahan (TC and the Groove Family, Nilufer Yanya), the quartet embarks on a unique sonic journey where energy and euphoria are channeled through improvisation.

Their music unfolds within a vast soundscape, drawing influences from Latin rhythms, soul, and electronic music, deeply connected to the spirit of carnival and party culture. Expect fresh compositions that showcase absolute band synergy and a bold, eclectic sound.

Hana Amaya

Hana Amaya is a singer and trumpeter interested in music that finds its home in sometimes unconventional spaces. Her writing process involves creating sonic palettes and worlds combining futurism, cinematic sounds and nu-soul.You can sign up to hear more about Queer Jazz events HERE
