Filippo Ieraci Trio presents an evening of modern jazz with a distinctive voice. Since coming together in 2020 with Simone Serafini on double bass and Jacopo Zanette on drums, the trio has become a platform for Filippo’s original music—blending the language of jazz with the raw energy of rock and pop, the music that first drew him to the guitar.
In January 2024, the trio released their debut album Trust the Process, praised by the press as “an admirable example of taste and composure.” The record showcases Filippo’s unique approach to composition, weaving electric guitar riffs, grooves, rich harmonies and open improvisation into a sound that feels both contemporary and personal.
For this performance, the trio will present selections from Trust the Process alongside a set of carefully chosen jazz standards, offering a journey that moves between invention and tradition, freedom and form.
