About
After spending the past months in Brazil recording her upcoming album and collaborating with renowned artists including Brazilian legend Chico César, London-based singer-songwriter and bandleader Noga Ritter returns to one of her favourite venues with her beloved quartet.
At this special concert, Noga will perform music from IMA alongside brand new material from her upcoming album recorded in Brazil — presented for the first time in London.
Noga released her debut album IMA (Galileo Music, 2023) to critical acclaim, featuring award-winning artists Tony Kofi, Byron Wallen and Seckou Keita. Her work received international press reviews, and since its release she has toured across the UK, Europe, Senegal and Brazil, including a sold-out show at the EFG London Jazz Festival and appearances on BBC One.
“An immensely promising debut and dizzyingly diverse listen… a writer of serious potential” – Jazzwise
“Irresistible sound, music that defies any musical genres” – Jazz FM
Blending jazz with global influences shaped by her travels, international collaborations and life in multicultural London, Noga’s music moves between intimacy and powerful collective energy. Singing in English and Hebrew, her songs weave deeply personal stories with wider global and social themes, creating performances known for their emotional depth and strong connection with audiences.
The evening will also feature a unique live recording and filming of her new song Rehumanise, a response to the ongoing war and the dehumanisation we are witnessing across the world. In the song, she asks “how can we rehumanise?” and invites the audience to take part by singing together. By joining, you become part of this collective moment — and of a song calling to reconnect with our shared humanity, to be released as a single and video.
