Baritone saxophonist and woodwind specialist Mick Foster has underpinned the LJO’s sax section for over 25 years, only the second player to hold the chair after Chris Biscoe. A fluent and melodic soloist, his uplifting musical personality and catchy compositions make an essential contribution to the band’s original sound. This gig will feature Mick both as composer and soloist, including a new piece for the occasion.
