About:
Album launch night for ONMO’s first release entitled In Time and Spirit. Guitarist and composer Jean de Talhouët leads ONMO, bringing original music which is dynamic and broad ranging, inspired by jazz greats such as Wayne Shorter and Joe Henderson, as well as contemporary composers such as Nik Bartsch and Steve Reich. Blending spiritual grooves, polyrhythms, modal explorations, lyricism, it is in turns aerial and uplifting, dense and brooding, contemplative, yearning, inspiring movement/dance. Featuring an all-star cast of spirited and acclaimed musicians, we are excited to host this album launch at The Vortex Jazz Club.
