Alex Bonney’s quartet plays original compositions with plenty of room for group improvisation. Influences of Art Ensemble of Chicago, Don Cherry, Albert Ayler and other free jazz pioneers are taken as a starting point for a band comprised of some the U.K’s most in demand improvisers.
