About

Antoine Boyer is widely seen as one of the best Guitarists of his generation. Despite his young age he is a leading figure at the cutting edge of European lineage Jazz as well as Classical and Flamenco styles. His virtuosic bebop-tinged improvisation is complimented by heartfelt balladeering and an excitingly varied repertoire, which includes his own compositions, music by Bill Evans, Django Reinhardt, Radiohead, a host of other influences.

Antoine has been a headliner at most major Gypsy Jazz festivals in Europe and the U.S. and has shared the stage with legendary artists like Philip Catherine, Angelo Debarre, Stochelo Rosenberg, Christian Escoudé and Jon Larsen. Antoine has won countless awards, including the Montigny Classical Guitar Contest in 2015 and the 4th European Guitar Award. He was also nominated in 2016 for the Révélation Guitare Classique award, by French magazine Guitare Classique.
Antoine is joined by virtuosic Korean Harmonica player Yeore Kim, who is renowned for her innovative, masterful command of the unique instrument.

Accompanying Antoine and Yeore for the show are the in demand London based musicians: Tobie Medland (Violin), Harry Diplock (Rhythm Guitar) & Eleazar Ruiz (Double Bass).

Run by musicians and music lovers, the Gypsy Jazz Festival of London is a showcase of some of the world’s finest forward-thinking Gypsy and Chamber Jazz. This years edition is supported by Arts Council England.
