KIM Trio is led by tenor saxophonist Helena Kay (Young Scottish Jazz Musician of the Year 2015), and for this gig will feature David Ingamells (Yamaha Jazz Scholarship 2013) on drums and Ferg Ireland on double bass. The trio have performed at various venues in London and beyond (Pizza Express, The Spotted Dog, The Hug and Pint) and part of the London and Glasgow Jazz Festivals. The Trio play a varied mixture of Helena’s originals, jazz standards, and other tunes from the jazz canon.
