“In At The Deep End.” An informal evening of chat and music downstairs with guitarist John Etheridge, one of the leading and influential UK guitarists for over 50. (And a performer at the Vortex for 35 of those!)
It’s a chance to meet with John, quiz him and hear his thoughts. He’s played with all styles of jazz, and music, from Soft Machine through to his duo with violinist John Williams, with the likes of Andy Summers, Nigel Kennedy and Stephane Grappelli in between.
John will talk with bassist Huw V Williams, himself one of the newer generation of Vortex regulars, and host of his own podcast (Improvised Music Agenda).
