With a distinctive power house groove and a virtuosic approach to the double bass, Donin brings the bass to the forefront and directs the music from there.
Featuring his long standing band including Josh Arcoleo (tenor) Chris Williams (alto), Maria Chiara Argirò (piano) and Ben Brown on drum, Together they are striking a perfect balance between composition and improvisation and present this highly energetic and unique genre bending outfit whilst drawing on influences from Donins’ musical background and inspirations, from across Sub Saharan and north Africa, and travel back all the way to melodic and contemporary indie folk and raw Americana. This promises to be a sold out concert not to be missed – book your ticket in advance.
