Celebrating his much anticipated debut album launch of acclaimed Israeli bass player, composer and producer Liran Donin (LedBib, Polar Bear, Mulatu Astatke, The Unthanks, Chrissie Hynde and many more). Donin brings the bass to the forefront and directs the music from there, with his distinctive powerhouse grooving, but also there is melodic and contemporary indie folk like music to be found here, casting these five musicians in an highly original intriguing new light. Together they are striking a perfect balance between composition and improvisation and present this highly energetic and unique jazz outfit whilst drawing on influences from Donins’ musical background and inspirations, from across Sub- Saharan Africa, Jewish Ladino and travel back all the way to simple folk songs and raw Americana.
