Twins at 60: Martin Speake and Scott Stroman were born on the same day 60 years ago, half a world apart. Over the years they’ve shared some fantastic music together at the Vortex, and have assembled an all-star group, “Twins” to celebrate their special joint birthdays. As Duke Ellington’s birthday is also in April, all the music for this special occasion will come from his marvellous songbook. It’ll be a real party atmosphere– full of beauty, fun, frolic and great performances.
