The Vortex discussion this week focuses on how we can make sure that our music is heard and supported. With long-term funding at risk, with Brexit and the pandemic potentially reducing monies for our (innovative) music, we need to be heard.
How do we achieve this? For the past years, we have evolved a generation of great quality imoricvising musicians. But has this been at the expense of being heard and making issues heard. This of course has been done in the past in this genre. What can we do to reviatalise this too? Or is it now unnecessary?
