Emanuele Filippi is an Italian pianist, composer, and bandleader based in New York, who has performed internationally and collaborated with artists such as Enrico Rava, Seamus Blake, Ben Van Gelder, and Chris Morrissey. His project Carousel replaces the double bass with bass clarinet, creating lyrical, contrapuntal soundscapes where dreamy atmospheres meet bold experimentation.
