Mari Green
Mari Green is a Glaswegian singer-songwriter based in London whose music weaves together indie folk and jazz influences through voice and acoustic guitar. Inspired by artists like John Martyn and Nick Drake, her writing is rich with emotive and personal story-telling, soulful melodies and a sense of intimacy. Her performances are atmospheric and captivating, with stripped-back guitar accompaniment allowing her expressive vocals to take centre stage. Supported by Arts Council England, Mari is currently recording and producing her debut EP, expanding her sound world by incorporating electronics, sampling and field recordings.
