About

Bone Folder (debut show)

Occupying a space between drone, ambient and noise music, London duo Bone Folder walk the intersections of sustained, textured sounds. Drawing from a wealth of cultural and sonic context, their freely improvised, dynamic approach is detail-oriented and at times insidiously quiet.

Giving way by turns to lyrical melodic work or full-bore noise, the music taps directly into the resonant frequencies of the spaces it fills. Bassist J Kamboh’s raw, dextrous instincts and guitarist Mat Martin’s visual, textural sensibility are brought to bear on carefully controlled, throbbing planes of sound that saturate over time and fizz at their edges.

Hexn

Hexn is the solo project of Alberto Brunello, Italian musician, painter and tattoo artist based in St. Leonards-on-Sea. His music includes traces of psychedelia alongside primitive techno beats, ritualistic chants and gloomy drones; it feels familiar, yet somehow different.

This project explores many different sound universes, absorbing whatever it is stimulated by in its attempt to create a pattern of its own. Through deep drones and an accentuated rhythmic pulse, Brunello’s sound world acts as the heartbeat of his very personal imagery.
