Gypsy Night – Dunajska Kapelye

Piotr Jordan – violin

Zac Gvirtzman – accordion/piano/clarinet

Paul Moylan – double bass

Gina Boreham – vocals

This is a musical collaboration that never fails to delight and thrill.

Gypsy / Eastern European night has been running at the Vortex now for over 10 years. Dunajska Kapelye was the first band to play this night – and the reason it was born. They never fail to excite and delight their audience with their amazing craft, passion and joyful interaction – taking us (and each other) on a seat-of-the-pants ride through the music of Eastern Europe and the Gypsy diaspora. Interspersed with some spine-tingling interpretations of some well known jazz tunes, tangos and blues songs.
