Pianist/Composer Basil Hodge has thrilled audiences throughout the UK for over 20 years with his charming compositions and emotional hard swinging performances. With two critically acclaimed CD’s under his belt, this project will showcase Basil’s new compositions which have a more funkier and groovy element to them. He is preparing to record his new album at the end of this year.
Basil has played with some of most significant players on the jazz scene like Tony Kofi, Dave O’Higgins, Quentins Collins and Renato D’Aiello.
Sax ace Ed Jones features in tonights performance and completing the line up are a superb rhythm section of Dave Manington and Winston Clifford.
