Jazz combos from the Guildhall junior dept Jazz course.
Still in its first few years, the new Guildhall junior jazz course continues to grow and to develop and nurture young jazz players of great ability and potential. With small groups, theory and arranging classes and a big band all aspects of jazz are covered. Featured today are two jazz combos led by course tutors/coordinators Ollie Weston and Jonathan Taylor playing music from across the spectrum as well as original music from course members. Expect soloing and ensemble playing of a high standard from the jazz stars of tomorrow.
