Liam Noble and John Parricelli

John Parricelli was one of the founding members of the British big band Loose Tubes, with whom he recorded three albums. Since then he has played and recorded with Kenny Wheeler, Norma Winstone, Lee Konitz, Paul Motian, Chris Laurence, Peter Erskine, Charlie Haden, Vince Mendoza, Mark Lockheart, Iain Ballamy, Andy Sheppard and Stacey Kent amongst others. He is also a studio guitar player, working on pop records and film soundtracks.

Liam Noble has played with countless musicians at home and abroad.  From Elgar to electric Miles, his recent solo CD “A Room Somewhere” reflects both a wide range of interests and an attention to nuance and detail.  As well as his additional releases “Close Your Eyes”, “In The Meantime”, “Romance Among The Fishes”, “Brubeck”, he also works with Mark Lockheart’s “Malija”, Chris Batchelor’s “Pigfoot”, Ingrid Laubrock’s improvising trio “Sleepthief”.  Other collaborators have included Lionel Loueke, Eric Harland, Drew Gress, Larry Grenadier, Mary Halverson, Moondog, Okkyung Lee and a duo with Dave Liebman. A new cd on Edition records, due for release in Summer 2019, features Tom Herbert and Seb Rochford.
