This is an improvising quartet made up of four great musicians who explore the cusp where melody, improvisation and rhythm meet. Dunmall brings earthy tones to which Noble adds splashes of colour and sensitivity. Even if you have only a passing interest in free jazz, John Edwards and Mark Sanders need no introduction as they’re frequently seen with maestro Evan Parker.
