THE POETRY OF JAZZ AND THE JAZZ OF POETRY

Penny Rimbaud was one of the founders of the legendary anarchist punk band Crass. Over recent years, he has regularly performed at the Vortex, in the belief that jazz musicians hold a key to where his beliefs move. Indeed, the album How? was recorded at the old Vortex, and several of his latest projects, such as The Sea and the complete poems of Wilfred Owen have premiered and developed at the Vortex. A great privilege for the club, since Penny is one of the great innovators. Come to the gig and see!!
