We see regularly musicians bringing nature to affect and influence their music. Such as Kate Shortt at Freedom this week, Tom Challenger at Marsden and Hyelim Kim in Korea. Sometimes very direct, sometimes with art or photography in between. But also leading to some beautifully evocative videos.
Is this something that is becoming more relevant again in our distanced world – a more inspired awareness of nature? Or just somewhere to look for ideas, instead of books, poetry or inner contemplation. It also goes in the opposite direction and the music itself created inspires art?
Open to all – lovers of music, art, nature and of course practitioners themselves.
