This week’s discussion focuses on how we now can find out who to listen to – rely on algorithms, playlists, blogs, podcasts? In the past, we had newspaper reviews and radio, but these are certainly diluted. A good Guardian review on a Friday could generate a lot of album sales the following weekend. Or, even further back, we could buy Time Out in London and get complete listings and thumbnail reviews of every gig, film, art exhibition and more. NO LONGER!
