When jazz and improvising musicians go on stage, they are taking tremendous risks in the creation of the music for the audience. The compositions are instant and not fully planned! It’s a challenge which they have to resolve. And indeed sometimes the results are amazing and sometimes not. Why do they do it, and not something safer? And audiences come along to watch this happen!
Today’s discussion covers this field. Led by Vortex director Oliver Weindling it’s open to all. Musicians, promoters, and anyone who is a lover of the music.
