About
Uncategorizable composer, performer and educator Eddie Parker has been active on the UK and international music scene for four decades. As a world-class jazz flautist he was a member of the 1980’s UK big band Loose Tubes, performed and recorded with South African Jazz legend Bheki Mseleku, as well as his own bands including the acclaimed classical/jazz/world music Debussy Mirrored Ensemble, and his six-piece super group Mister Vertigo. As a keyboard player he performs regularly with the fascinating Will Gregory Moog Ensemble and with his own raunchy progressive rock band EscherSteps.
From the pen of this prolific and prodigious creative comes Airborn, a suite of related pieces featuring the mighty talents of virtuoso guitarist Rob Luft. Expect some amazing playing, an eclectic panorama of musical influences, exciting grooves, and some gorgeous sounds.
