Grass Roots at The Vortex is being relaunched this July with a long-awaited performance from Tomorrow’s Warriors alumni KOMA – a young and tight jazz outfit blessed with artistic dexterity and technical virtuosity beyond their years.
Not content with resting on their academic laurels despite attending some of the UK’s most prestigious conservatoires, these prodigious musicians constantly seek to push the envelope by reaching out to a myriad of styles to define their sound.
The line-up for this streamed event will include Donovan Haffner on alto sax, Laurie Milton on piano and keys, Francisco Garcia de Paredes on guitar, Louis Sills-Clare on bass guitar and Blake Cascoe on drums.
