We welcome back the World Music Workshop Band lead by leading trombonist Annie Whitehead, featuring Alison Rayner (bass) and Winston Clifford (drums).
The WMWB besides being performing band is also a committed rehearsal ensemble who come together every year for a week to hone their skills. The culmination of their efforts is the WMWB performance at the end of the week playing a repertoire of African and Latin grooves, Blues, ska and Ellingtonian expressionism… this is a global jazz groove session uplifting and joyful.
