Open to all aspiring musicians, this workshop will be run by Loz Speyer’s Inner Space Music, prior to the gig on Monday 14th.
Inner Space Music’s ACE funded tour finishes on Monday 14 Dec with a celebratory gig at the Vortex, including an augmented line-up with special guest Henry Lowther.
Prior to this, on Saturday 12 Dec 2-5pm at the Vortex, the band is giving a workshop, open to all aspiring musicians on any instrument. Working mainly by ear, Inner Space Music compositions will be the starting point for exploring approaches to collective improvisation, including small groups within the larger one. It’s a unique opportunity for musicians at any level to play with this great band.
