Award-winning saxophonist/composer Ed Jones returns to the quartet format with which he first made his name on the UK jazz scene over 30 years ago.
Floating Circles is an exciting UK jazz quintet lead by clarinettist Aidan Pearson. The group’s music takes influence from a wide range of styles including ambient, rock, hip-hop, world music, Arabic and Brazilian music, making for an eclectic and forward thinking outfit.
‘Inside Colours’ – consisting of pianist Julie Sassoon and saxophonist/bass clarinetist Lothar Ohlmeier, brings together two extraordinary talents whose finesse, musical brilliance and intuitive communication creates a musical universe whose beauty is deeply moving and utterly captivating.
On this release tour of Tineke’s new album ARIA, the renowned Dutch saxophonist sets out on a journey of exploration and creative expression, accompanied by her new group featuring the talented and acclaimed David Doružka, Robert Landfermann and Tristan Renfrow.
Saxophonist Nick Willsher brings this exciting new project for his Vortex debut, performing original material inspired by the skies. Combining influences from folk and ambient with European jazz, the music promises a broad mix of sound-worlds.

Kenny Wheeler was a founder member of the London Jazz Orchestra, providing much of the band’s original repertoire. The jazz orchestra was Kenny’s main vehicle, and the LJO features his music in his birthday month.
